Property Committee
This committee meets as needed throughout the year to address the list of needs, investigate new needs, and to prioritize those things that need to be repaired or replaced.
Last year, before the new pastors arrived, an extensive cosmetic renovation was done including paint, carpet, vinyl, etc. A door was also replaced and a dying tree in the back yard removed. The original furnace of the parsonage was replaced with a new energy-efficient furnace. On the church building, the bell tower roof was resealed. Some of the work was done voluntarily by members of the church.
There are some items on the list that must be addressed, some of which could involve some costly renovation. One of those is the basement which has had no attention for some time.
