    Tornado & Flood Response

       What else can we do?

1. Pray. First and foremost.

2. Donations: Gift cards and money for gift cards - especially from any of our local businesses are welcome. Bring the cards and money to the church office and we will distribute them.

3. Donations: Money given to the church marked for the disaster will be given to Lutheran Disaster Response through Lutheran Services of Iowa (Lutheran Social Service). Money given between now and July 6 will be supplemented by THRIVENT which will make your money go father.

4. When Lutheran Disaster Response gets set up we will then work with them. Please call the church office if you interested in work with us.

These are our responses at this time and are subject to change as needs arise.

We have been asked to house church group volunteers and that is being worked at this time.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL NOTES

July 7-11 over 70 kids from our community and beyond gathered at St. James and at UCC to learn more about GOD!  They were led by a team of youths from Riverside Bible Camp.  To view fun photos from our week together please go to the Ministries link above!

Many, many thanks go to ALL who made this week a success for so many children.  YOU have made a difference in their lives~!
